Life can be hard sometimes. For most people, when difficulty comes their way, they tend to stray from God. They can’t seem to feel His presence and they feel hopeless like their hard times will never end.
Here’s the thing though, just because you’re going through rough times, doesn’t mean you can’t thrive. You were created to thrive under ALL circumstances.
So you order your favorite pizza with your favorite toppings?
And the best part? Your pizza was free.
What happens when you eat that first hot slice of cheesy pizza?
Your taste buds salivate, your eyes close in pure bliss, and you make that “mmm” sound, right? You feel that temporary feeling of peace like everything is right in the world.
Isn’t that type of peace what we all want on a day-to-day basis?
Society has it set where finding your calling and purpose is the top priority to living a successful life. As a Christian, some people feel if they don’t fulfill their “purpose” or “calling” for the Lord, then they’ve failed God.

I’ve reordered the songs to tell a story about a man named James growing an intimate relationship with the Lord. Click the links below to read the previous posts: A Million Dreams; Come […]
In This Is Me, James has decided to embrace who he is—his bruises and all. Now, in Tightrope, James is trusting God with his life and he realizes this journey is certainly not easy, but he isn’t giving up hope this time.

In Never Enough, James realizes this world will never be enough for him. He realizes he needs to fill himself up with more promises and truth from the Lord. He tried living a worldly life full of money, status, etc. and now he’s trying to follow God but life is still rough. Well, this song is James expressing (worshipping) to God that this world is not enough for him and he only needs God to help him get through life.
