We’re made in the image of God. To reject the way God made you would be an insult to Him. He makes no mistakes. The amount of hair on your head, the curve of your nose, the rich shade of your eyes—was carefully articulated by the same God that handcrafted the stars. The quicker you are to accept all of your quirks, physically and internally, the closer to God you’ll find yourself.

Painful memories can be hard. And negative thoughts can become consuming. When we remember that God is our light in the darkness, our comforter, and our protector, that God is our comforter, that God is our protector, we can remember we’re not alone during painful times. We can shift our focus to Him.
Develop the ability to thrive in the good and bad seasons by learning to go to God—the resource that never changes; His strength is always there.

Don’t quit just because you don’t see the results you are looking for. Despite the difficulties, keep moving forward.

You’re God’s creation. He still loves you despite your flaws. When He sees you, He sees what Jesus did for you. His love is unconditional.⠀
