I’m currently reading The Hollywood Commandments by Devon Franklin and this quote caught my attention.

How many times do we quit when we get a “no”? How many times do we quit when we don’t see the results from our hard work? Or maybe, how many times do you feel discouraged?

Here’s a reminder to never give up.

I found this quote very comforting, especially when Devon Franklin reminded me of how Stephen King became a bestselling author. Carrie was King’s first novel and it was rejected THIRTY times! THIRTY! I honestly believe I would have quit somewhere around ten to fifteen rejections. But now look at King! He’s a bestselling author! That motivates me because it’s my dream to become a bestselling author and with the hustle and bustle of life, it can be hard to carve out time to write and even remember why I’m writing in the first place.

But if you feel God has truly placed that desire on your heart to write, start that business, or present that proposal at work, then sweetie? It is set in stone. Keep working towards that goal!
